WHAT IS CLINCIAL SUPERVISON
Clinical Supervision is an integral part of enriching the competencies, intentionality, and craft of one's profession. It’s a space to enrich your skills, refine your practice, and stay connected to the values that brought you into the work.
When done well, supervision not only meets regulatory requirements, but is a generative experience which flows into and out of the areas of client outcomes, professional development, and personal growth. Good supervision offers a space where you can step back, reflect, and return to your work with clarity, purpose, and capacity.
MY SUPERVISON STYLE
Supervision with me is grounded, intentional, and professional. I work flexibly to meet you where you’re at, whether you’re a new graduate building confidence, or an experienced practitioner wanting a reflective space. My approach draws on narrative therapy, developmental trauma frameworks, generalist counselling, integrative psychotherapy, and established supervision models. This means our work together is tailored to your context, learning style, and goals.
My work is shaped by professional ethics and commitments to particular values - dignity, integrity, quality, and care, backed by years of clinical practice, leadership roles in the not-for-profit sector, and a commitment to professional excellence.
HOW SUPERVISION IS DIFFERENT FROM PERSONAL THERAPY
While personal themes may emerge, supervision focuses on your work, your professional role, and how you’re showing up in it. If something calls for dedicated personal work, we’ll name it and make sure you have the right support in place.
